Hey, Im currently trying to source a kit for my 72 nova. Will all this work with my factory power booster? Im running 18" bonspeeds and DSE front suspension, any fitment issues i should know about?

Im really looking for a kit that is engineered to work as a set, and have no issues...is this the kit?

have any pictures of the upgraded caliper options?

thanks

This is your kit. We thought of everything including the special tools for assembling the rotors properly which would cost you $75 if you tried to buy them. Like I said above, we include everything but the hard line.

Yes we can use your factory booster. As long as your engine is making enough vacuum (re: No real big camshaft) we can reuse your factory booster.

Here is a picture of the DynaPro 6 caliper on the 12.2" set up. We can also do a Dynapro rear caliper to by special order.

This is awesome. What do i get when I do dynapro rears? whats the advantage?

Whats my price for Black Front and Rear, Upgraded dynapro fronts, complete kit...My car has a factory crate motor 290hp gmpp engine. I will be running big cam and heads when i do the ls2 swap, but plan on doing hydroboost anyways..down the road

There is zero advantage to the Dynapro rears except bling of a big caliper! The front DynaPro 6 add $300 to the $1800 kit. And your choice of the polished or black master.

what comes in the kit currently in the rear? The calipers pictured in the fuirst picture? 2 piston?

ProdigyCustoms
12-20-2009, 10:01 AM
Those are (4) piston Dynalite calipers.

BTW, there is no such thing as a DynaPro (4) piston caliper. There are some other incorrect advertisments around incorrectly calling (4) piston Dynalite calipers a (4) piston DynaPro caliper, but there is no such thing as a (4) piston DynaPro Caliper. There are 2 sizes of Dynapro (6) calipers for specific front and rear applications, but no Dynapro (4) piston.

Here is the (4) piston Dynalite rear kit

I wholeheartedly recommend Frank and crew. He hooked me up last year with the 12.2 kit and I got the very first set of DynaPro 6 piston calipers. I can attest to the stopping power if there's any question about how well this system stops.

Frank,
What do I need for a 67 firebird running the AFX spindle package and and a Ford Nine (with a chev bolt pattern) with parking brake and a Master cylinder to match up with a Hydroboost. Running 18" Rushforths, so I wouldn't mind running the 13" brakes.
Thanks

ProdigyCustoms
12-21-2009, 09:08 PM
You will have to run at least a 13" kit on those spindles. I would do a 13" (6) piston Superlite front and a 12.2 (4) piston Dynalite rear. If you want to bling it up we can do a (6) piston Dynapro caliper on the rear specially designed with smaller pistons for rear brake applications.

13" (6) Piston Front Kit

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif
12.19 (4) Piston Dynalite Rear Kit

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif
Optional Rear DynaPro Caliper

With the POLISHED or BLACK Master included, and the Safety wire, pliers, and our own custom rear hose we have made, and all the other Wilwood parts including E Brake Cable, Braided hoses, Prop Valve, Wilwood DOT 4 fluid, is:

13" (6) piston front and 12.19" (4) piston Rear WITH internal E Brake, all Drilled and Slotted is $2800. Add $300 for (6) piston rear DynaPro caliper

This is a truely killer brake packge for right at 3 grand.

Frank,

Will the 12.2 rotors and 4 piston dynalites work with some 15x3.5 weld draglights?? They have a 1.75" bs.

ProdigyCustoms

You woul have to run a small wheel adapter. that is what i am doing on one of my special projects. Lots of room to push the wheel out, so i am using a 1 1/2" adapter when i run my drag skinnies.

Shoot I was thought they would fit. What is the largest set up I can use on the front with the 15x3.5's with 1.75" bs with no adaptors.

Thanks!

No one knows these systems in and oout, and what is available like we do. We move so much Wilwood product through the line for these cars, we are touching it everyday.

The 11" kit is something we just got.
