So lets say I was to pick up the new AME chassis coming out early (hopefully) 2010.... Its basically an off shoot of the max-g chassis but is designed to fit a 62-67 nova.

Because I am new to this what would be a realistic price to have it installed in my car.... Body drop with tin ready to roll out the door given I supply wheels for it?

Any help would be great. Also if anyone knows of a reputable shop in California preferably southern that does this kind of work. I know about Ironworks just wondering if there is anyone else that can be recommended to call and that has pics of work.

Thanks

Fast Eddies down in Orange. Ed has used our product quite a bit and knows how to build a nice car.

BS Industries - They are in So Cal too. Great guys and their Starliner won a Ford Design award at SEMA this year. I believe they are here on the board too.

Hot Rods & Custom Stuff - Another great shop that turns out high quality cars and does everything in house. Top notch!

Those are just a couple off the top of my head.

While we do a MaxG chassis for this car and have plans for a front sub, I'm not sure of the Nova chassis you are talking about.

Current new-product lineup for AME is the Chevelle chassis, more user friendly 1st gen Camaro chassis, Chevy II sub and a few other non Chevy items and a couple of private label pieces for other customers.

Hey craig thanks for the heads up. Ill check those out. Ive been talking with Matt Jones about it and it will be a chassis that fits a nova with c6 suspension. Not sure if it has a name like max-g, for all I know its a variation of the max-g. Not sure matt has been the contact thus far.

We have been talking about something like that, but the trick is to find a rack that help us get us the narrow track width. We can go woodward, but a $1600 power rack will definitely price things kind of high. We will probably do the subframe first and work up to the full chassis from there.

Craig, what's in store for the 69 a-body chassis? I've called twice and wasn't able to get much. Is there going to be any cutting required? I've got lots of questions so I better not get going but do you have an expected release date? I've been eyeballing the SRG Street Rod Garage chassis which is a killer looking package but options are nice. Thanks
