Another fitment question - offset et20 on 69 Camaro

OK guys, I think I have this figured out but I just want to be sure before I pull the trigger on new wheels.

I love the Petrol Throttle wheels that were used on the Project Lime Time Camaro.

      I want to run the 18x8 et20 front and 19x9.5 et20 rear.

If I am calculating correctly then that would be a 5.29" front and 6.04" rear backspacing.

They will be going on a 69 Camaro:
Rear -mini tubbed, leafs moved inward, stock width 10 bolt, 2" drop springs and 2" blocks, disc conversion
Front - 2" drop spindles, QA1 coilovers, stock subframe, rolled fender lips, no inner fenders yet (plan to fab my own)

I would prefer these tuck inside as opposed to being near the outer lips. Will these tuck with no clearance problems with the outer sheet metal or suspension? Would i need to run spacers or should the 18x8 be OK on the front?

      Thanks in Advance,
      Dustin

      Frank,

      Thanks for the reply.
I am assuming those measurements are for the ideal BS? Is my math correct on the offset v. BS calc? Would the extra 1/2" on each side be enough to cause contact issues or would I need spacers?

      Thanks again,
      Dustin

Yes, those measurements Frank posted are ideal for stock tub/suspension/fender 69 Camaros.

Your proposed 9.5 ET 20 has a 6" backspace. This will pull your wheel inwards a half inch. Since you mentioned your car is mini-tubbed, they should fit no problem. Just a bit more tucked looking than typical, not always a bad thing.

The front 8.0 ET 20 wheel has a 5.3" backspace. You can get away with 4.75-5.00 on a 69 Camaro, so it seems you will need at least a .25" to .50" spacer up front. A proper ET for the 8.0 wheel would be +8mm
