I have a 68 camaro project that I started a while ago and had to stop due to circumstances. I still have the car and I have a 92 vette donor car for drive train. I'm not going to use the IRS and I'm not sure that I'm gonna use the LT1 anymore either ( I starting to think an after market block and EFI setup will be better for the target HP) but I would like to use the C4 front susp. I know Wayne Due stopped making frames, It just seems like everyone only offers C5 stuff now. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I feel like I should sell the vette and start from scratch again.

Probably a good idea to start over. There are so many more up to date front subs to chose from (not that the OEM was really bad) that trying to keep yourself in the C4 box might not be worth the effort.

I don't know anyone doing C4 stuff now... but there is certainly nothing wrong with the design.
Look up www.gmsports.com and talk to Freddy - he was building 3rd Gen Camaro's with C4 stuff a few years back

C4 is an antiquated design by today's standards. It's not bad...it does have lousy RC migration and mediocre camber gain though, and gets worse when modified for street rod use. C5/6 is better in just about every respect that I can think of, except large diameter wheels are manditory.

I would absolutely agree with Matt. I had a C4 cradle and suspension that I had planned on using. I believe I actually posed the exact same question as well. You may search back through the threads if you're looking for a little more detail.
After doing a small amount of research you'll find that if you're going through the trouble of building a front suspension it's much more beneficial to start with the C5 items.
If you didn't have the C4 front, the cost differential between the C4 and C5 items is slim. I actually sold my C4 front for just about what I paid for the C5.

right on, I was thinking that I may end up selling it. It would have been a no brainer if I didn't already have a C4 donor car! thanks guys
