      335's with a frame notch on a 65 A-Body??

      Hey guys,

I am iin the process of picking out a wheel/tire combo for my 65 GTO and would like to like to get some advice and opinions. I am doing a mini tub and frame notch and was wondering if there is enough room to get a 335 on a 11 or 12 inch rim with the notched frame or is sectioning required. Since I'm going through all the trouble of frame work and tubbing I would like to get the fattest tire out back with the least trouble (don't we all). If sectioning is required, I think I might down size to a 315 or a 305. Also, I am leaning towards 18/18 combo with either Newgen polished splitters or Forgeline zx3's with polished lip and black centers. The car will be a metallic medium silvergray/pewter. I know the two wheels are completely different but I just wanted some outside opinions to help me move in one direction.

      Thanks

Sell it and buy a 67 Chevelle instead. Ken I figured it out I am using a heater delete plate it fits perfect. By the way the Forgelines look better

Thanks Keith, I am leaning towards the Forgelines.......By the way I know you only suggested me replacing my car with a Chevelle because you were hoping we could swap cars and then you would FINALLY end up owning a quality car!!

Forgelines x 1,000,000 votes! Black or grey centers really look great on silver/gray cars.
Percy's Wheel Rite can help you figure out if 335's will fit.

Thanks.......I am kinda leaning towards the forgelines. The Percy tool looks like a good product for the price.

      Thanks

Ken, give me a call at the shop tomorrow and we can go over your measurements and see exactly what we can squeeze into the back of your GTO.
