Sharing my pain with AFX spindles

I've had lots of trouble getting my parts from ATS. This is posted on the Team Chevelle site, but I wanted to share my problem here as well. Just in case any of you were interested in the product.

So Tyler responded in your Chevelles.com thread yesterday, said you should have the arms, when you said you didn't he asked for your full name, and now you find it necessary to post here?

Most regulars here know what Tyler's going through, that he's not able to carry on his business as he'd like and that he's advised folks that there have been and will be delays in shipping parts.

My experience with Tyler is that he is a straight up guy. I don't think a post like this is going to get you anything any faster than you would have gotten it without this post.

I got my arms last week and I bought them through SC&C so I'm sure if you give Mark a call you can get this sorted out.

Yup, Ill agree with this. Posting yer troubles here after posting it already on another site seems like you are on a witch hunt. Not very cool here. My meaning? You have a current thread going on on the other site, working out your problems. By bringing it here its like you just want to vent your frustration with the order and throw some bad light on the company. This double thread wont get it done any quicker.

And I get your idea if you want to try and make the sitch more public, like if you were dealing with a company that just wants to flip you the bird instead of working with you. But thats not even the case with Tyler or Marc, they are very accommodating guys.

It just happens to be a major communication snafu that will get worked out. Do talk to Marc. Leave a message, I wouldnt normally with some companies but he WILL return messages. Ive actually been in the process of leaving a message for him and he called me as I was leaving the message. I flashed over and he was right there.

Talk with him on the phone. That IS how you get stuff done. Not by airing your bad experience here. I feel yer pain dude... But you kinda threw a lil confusion in the mix when you went to the manufacture asking for delivery when you bought it from a dealer. Taylor prolly doesnt have ANY info on you. The dealer does. JR

      From the thread over there:
Good thing you didn't post this on Pro-Touring... the thread would get real ugly, real fast
But yet here you are, and here it is getting a little ugly.

I'm closing the thread. You've said your piece, perhaps you've driven some customers away from Tyler and perhaps you haven't - and perhaps that wasn't the intent but it sure seems like it.

The coming dogpile won't help anything.
