Just got a flat off work and need help.
Current tire on the 93 mustang gt 4 lug is 225 55 15. I have a set of almost new 275 60 15 will it fit with no issues? car is bone stock.

You'll be going from a tire that's 24.75" tall to a 28" tall tire that's a lot wider.

I have a pair of 275/60-15s on the back of my GTO. It was a tight squeeze, getting them to fit back there took a custom-made wheel with just the right backspacing.

I see possible fender interference issues in the rear and especially so in the front (you didn't mention if you were using just 2 or all 4 tires), not to mention your speedo calibration will be off by 12% (reading slower, miles will tick off slower too).

It wouldn't be a big deal to get one mounted up and then try it on the rear to see if it fits.

never mind, i misread it, actually if its not a high end name brand though some 275/60/15s will come in near 27.25/27.5

my 95 mustang will fit a 275 in the front and a 315 in the back. that is with correct wheels tho.
