Anyone have a rule of thumb for how much drop you get for X" of coil cut from a GM a-body spring? Looking to drop an inch or two out of the front end. I would like to buy a DSE Speed kit 2 but I can get myself to spend the $2500 clams for it.

Chopped springs usually reduce themselves to a buggy like ride. I would research to see if you can find a Moog part # that will give you 1.5" drop for an A-body at least.

Cutting 1" of free height from the coil will usually result in a 2" drop.
