      Which seats to buy? HELP!

I am trying to find a set of front seats with full power and incorporated seat belts for use in my 66 GTO.

The most important requirement is an integrated seatbeltfollowed by the ability to tilt for access to the back seat. I will consider seats from all manufacturers.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you and God bless.

Recaro has a recliner model that is beautiful:
I believe the Audi TT has these, but they may not be powered.

I have some 2006 GTO seats, my budget is a little lower, and they are perfect for my 6'3" frame, usually a problem with other buckets. Both are 8 way power w/manual lumbar.

Other possibles: maybe from an wrecked Mercedes (S class, SLK, or AMG)

I considered seats from a new GTO, but they do not have integrated seat belts. I thought that some BMW and Mercedes might have integrated seat belts, but I am not very familiar with any of their models.

Seats with built in belts will most likely be convertibles.. I like the Chrysler Sebring seats ans an OE option. I have GTO seats (no belts) and they are heavy...

Thanks for the heads up on the Sebring seats. I never would have thought about them.

MC84_ZZ4 - I too have been looking for a set of GTO seats for my Monte. Interior in the mine is dark clarinet, GTO seats don't come in that color, so I either have to go with red, or black, or have a set recovered.

Check out post #15 in the thread below for a picture of the BMW convertible seats. These are their seats with the integral seat belts.

Later BMW's have 3 different style of seats, all were available with the power option and varied on what all was powered from just tracks to bolsters (?). The 3 series seats are probably the best to look for as they were in available in a coupe model which will have a tilt forward function, I don't believe the 5 series and up were.:
      1. Stock
      2. Sport - came with adjustable thigh extender
      3. M3 - Same as above I believe just a different insert style
Do a search for BMW here or on Ebay and you'll get some more ideas.
