Ok. I'm new to pro touring. I have seen the air ride technologies kit for a g body and decieded that's the route I'm going to travel mostlikely. I am looking for a setup that is trackable and is easily tuned to street manners aswell. Besides the basic air bag kit, will the strong arms have a substancial effect on handling or am in good with a stamped steel control arm. I plan on going to a tubular upper arm and blazer corvette brake setup. Along with sc&c rear arms.
Is the a.r.s. Setup as good as they make it out to be?
Anyone have any experience ( aside from gbody crowd ) with this setup for street / autocross?
Is the watts setup going to interfeir with the kit?
Any other parts thAt would make this setup ride on nails better?

All the Air Ride products are awesome. The A and G body kits are REALLY great. The A body and G body cars are very simliar set ups.
The Air Ride 66 Chevelle always surprises everyone that drives it. Look at the Super Chevy Challenge reports on that car. Our Bull Run Racer has a full Air Ride kit on it and even with horrible transmission issues with a ugly converter and a slushy trans, still set 8th fastest time for the day at Run thru the Hills first pass out with someone that never drove the car before. With a good trans set up I am confident we could have been in the hunt.
So yeah, it is as good as it is made up to be.
As for a watts kit, have not tried that yet. Maybe you can report back to us?

I have air ride on the billy goat and love it. It is lightyears ahead of the Global West setup I started out with. Now the car is a real pleasure to drive and the ride is excellent.
If you are into performance, go to your local Goodguys autocross. Air Ride is always in the hunt in that arena also, so don't worry about if it works on the track, it does. Not much out there for G-bodies, but you will love Air Ride.

thanks bill. Yea it's kinda scarse finding good products for the gbody. Companies really haven't yet realized that there are going to be the new chassis foundation for new old school. Can wait till income tax time. Lol. That's gonna be my gift to myself for being good. Lol. And englishtown track just finished a beautiful read course too. So once humpty dumpties back together. Im going to tear that track up. Or my fenders. Whichever. Hopefully the first one. Hahahahah
