I seen aftermarket gauges in the stock dash in 69 camaros and would like to do it in mine can anyone help me on how it's done. I'll like to keep my idiot lights.

I did a setup on a '69 Chevelle just like that. I took the whole gauge setup apart, removed the factory speedo and fuel level and built some sheetmetal to mount to the back of the gauge pod, marked out the holes, cut them with a plasma, welded some mounting tabs for the aftermarket setup, painted the front side black, and reassembled. The first year it was together the car took Platinum at Chevellabration. Unfortunately I don't have any pics, it's my friends car. It wasn't too bad to do.
