Has anyone made C5 Vette door mirrors functional on a project car?

All,

I want to put C5 door mirrors on my 67 Camaro project for visibility as much as looks. I've seen several cars with the mirrors, but I'm guessing they were just manually adjusting the mirrors. Has anyone made the power mirrors functional? Schematics or parts list available?

They have their own brain. I have only done the preliminary research. I decided the mirrors were too big and stick out too far for my tastes.

Check out ebay, the mirrors, motors, etc... are all available. If you had all of the hardware, I bet it wouldn't be hard to wire them up.

I put some c5 mirrors on another car. Wasn't to difficult. They had either 3 or 4 wires. The car I put them on already had a switch.

I think if you get a switch from a c5 vette, put some power to it and away you go.

I second this, the mirrors are too big for just about anything but a Vette.
