Looks great, Mike! Thanks for joining the family! Good luck on the forward progress but it looks like you're over the hump!

      Thanks for posting the pics!

Over the hump might be a stretch. The previous pics can be a little decieving. Pic below is where I am really at. It should go fast though. I got alot of great parts recomended from this site piled up in the garage and a understanding wife.

Specs for those interested are rears 18x10, 4.75" backspace (rearend was narrowed 2") and 18x9 front with 5.25" backspace (might be 5.5" i don't remember now). I was getting a rearend built anyways and it didn't cost extra to narrow it a tad to give me a nice deep dish in the back. The mounting pad in the rear is 1" and the front wheels are 1.5". Plenty of room for the brake package I am running.

      looking good!

just make sure youre only direction is forward. i would have been done by now if i hadnt kept changing my mind. it will be worth it in the end, but my huge pile of parts is killing me since im not actually using them.

I know how you feel. I have some parts that I bought that won't be used because my direction keeps changing. I have vowed to build it with what I have now. I would never get done if I didn't. For example I finally finished assembly on my 496 big block but if I could do it over I would of built an LS motor. Alas, I just need to stick to my original plan and there is no replacement for displacement anyways.

Look great so far... For me, putting all the nice, clean, shiney parts together was so rewarding.
Make sure to take lots of pics to share.

Very nice Mike. Those wheels look killer and you can just see the quality.
Keep us posted on your build.

Trust me that 100 bill went to bills the next day. This build is taking a while. I have expensive taste on a poor mans budget. I am enjoying the build anyways. Here is a pic with a tape measure. It is about 4 3/4".
