Hey Folks-
I'm thinking about doing wheels and tires over the winter. My current thoughts include black or polished C6 wheels (no lip!), TT2's in 17 or 18 polished or with gunmetal or black centers, leave the draglites, something else? I would like to lower the car 2" front and 3" rear at some point as well. What do you all think?

I would say rushforth... these cars need wheels with a big lip.

They don't really do it for me -- btw I've enjoyed reading your thread.

It might be hard to get wheels with no lip, because of the large fenderwells and nature of the car..... unless you run spacers to widen the track width.

I think that car needs a set of black centered Splitters or Thrashers with a polished lip. It will incorporate the black in the paint, and the black top, but still look muscle car, with a large diameter rim. Your car looks and feels "classic muscle car" and I think these desings, with a lowered stance (3" with a set of springs) and that car will be completely different but still look "right".

I also think some Junkyard Dogs w/gray spokes would look good on that car.

I think that there are a lot of options that you could do with your car and have it look outstanding. It all depends on what kind of look and what type of budget you're after.
