Shaved door handles
Hey Guys,
I am installing an Electric-life shaved door handle kit in my 69 Camaro.
I am having a problem with the heavy duty solenoid, it will not unlock the stock latch because the travel is too long on the lever on the latch and the solenoid does not pull the cable that far. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll probably have to re-drill a new hole on the latch arm closer to the latch.
Just a side note; make sure you take your latches out of the vehicle and clean them thoroughly (like, soak them in solvent if they're all-metal) before lubeing them very well with white lithium grease.Hopeful graduate from the school of hard knocks!
