Heart break! The only good thing here is at least the LS1 died a glorious race track death while performing as God intended.

there was a sound about 10-15 sec before....kinda like a gearbox prob.....sounds like the bottem end quit...

I wonder if he meant that to sound as cheesy as it does.
At first I thought it was a hole in the pan due to his small off track excursion. It happened at roughly the same time.
I'm not really certain as to what that car is either. Is it an RX7?

Watch the oil gauge during the run, it is hard to see all the time, but the pressure falls off dramatically in the turns. that is why he talked about pickup issues, he needed a better (baffled, etc.) pan for track use.

A perfectly good argument for a warning light and a low pressure shut off switch.

Yep, saw the gauge dropping and rising...guy needs a baffled pan and an accusump.
