I took a pair of '08 Jeep Renegade headlights from a totaled Jeep at work. Thinking they just might fit the Camino, well they fit virtually perfect. Even the stock trim ring fits right over it. Sweet! Heres some pics.
I will get some pics installed later as its drizzling out now.

Now can anybody tell me how to go about wiring these up. I can probably get the stock pigtail to connect to the bulbs. But where do I go from there?

Use two relays, one for low beam and one for hi.... use the factory wire to trigger the relay. Use a good heavy gauge wire to power hte lights....

Just as a clarification for those who may not be familiar with the Jeep lineup, you're speaking of the Liberty Renegade correct?

I know you can find '97-'06 Wrangler (TJ) H4 replacement headlight housings fit GM vehicles with minimal modifications.

That particular picture is a Wrangler Rubicon, but the headlights should be the same as the standard 08+ Wrangler. Once you mentioned it, I started looking at a lot of the Jeep headlights and was curious about the new wrangler. Do you happen to know if the headlights are mounted at an angle? The grill does slope back slightly, I'm not sure about the headlights.

they are bolted straight to the core support while the grille does have rake to it. i just took some pics and will up load them later. Rhino, that pic is the exact model jeep the lights are from. i just didnt know the name when i first posted..

OK- help me out here-

Why is this better than an H4?

It actually appears to be an H4 (or similar halogen replacement)
The nice thing about this is that we'll probably be finding them in salvage yards as a readily available, cheap housing to retrofit.

The only thing that worries me a little is how bug-eyed the lens seems. I'm wondering if those of us with headlight doors may run into any clearance issues.

Not attempting a hijack, just more options:

For a low budget item, you can also buy these for under $30 a pair (bulbs included)
Not sure how much the 'yards are charging over there, here they are proud of their stuff...
Autopal lights on flea-bay:
These are steel housing and nice optical glass lens:

They also have the free-form design, composite reflector housing, glass lens:

Yes, I know they are another H4, the advantage is you can find all kinds of bulbs for them.
