View Full Version : ls1 gto interior in 69 camaro

Hi guys,
Has anyone swapped out a complete interior from a GTO into a first gen camaro? It like to try this with my donor car but I have a few questions first.
Did you have to cut up the gto dash? Did you use all the gto wiring? Seat belts? Could you use the GTO door panels with the ventilation system? and lastly were you able to fit the gto AC box in.

Dec. '09 Issue of Muscle Car power mag has a 69 GTO done by west coast customs. Its a 69 GTO on a 06 gto frame and uses all of the interior as well.

look again they built a custom tube frame and installed the sub frame to it

this is kind of becoming their signature. they also did a 69 charger on a new charger for an actor from CSI (gary something). I think they were doing a first gen camaro over a 2010 also.

Looked like they basically cut the body off at the rockers and then set the old body over top.

dude im looking at the mag right now they took front and rear and slaped into the 69 they even cut the wheel wells and moved them to make fit. It was for Rockstar energy drink
