I am looking at laptops and have an idea.

How wide is the opening behind the glove box door? I forgot to measure mine last night.

You should be able to find a Dell Mini9 for cheap. Solid state drives (SSD) and no moving parts makes a pretty sturdy notebook. Only downside is limitation of hard drive space. 64GB SSD is pretty $$ still.

Dell Mini10 and the competitors are currently on the market and are still reasonably priced. Standard is 180GB laptop drive which will still take a beating...


I'm looking for one for my daily driver's glove box. ;)
