I have three sets of American Racing, brand new, and in stock that we purchased at an amazing Open House deal a few weeks ago. These sets are American Racing's NEW one piece polished TT2s, not two piece welded.

The sets I have are:

TT2, 5x4.75BP. Fronts are 17x7s, with a 4" BS, and the rears are 17x8s with a 4.75"BS.

I have two sets like this. I can sell them just the wheels for 800 bucks!
OR,
I can put them together with Nitto tires, like the 225/50/17 and 255/50/17s for 1300/set mounted and balanced.

I also have a set exactly like the above, two piece, American Racing Hopsters! Same Price.

Let me know!

If you two want to coordinate, then I'll break up the sets.
Same price, 800 for a set, shipped! Or with Nitto tires at $1300/shipped, mounted and balanced for free.

Curious - why did AM change their TT to once piece instead of the two piece welded - are one pieces better or stronger?

They still make both but it seems they are making a few popular sizes w/zero offset in a one-piece wheel.

Jon,a good friend of mine wants a set of 18" TT II's for his 55 Nomad. Can you get 18's at the present time?

Sure can. I've seen their hoops in stock, so they are back to quoting 4-6 weeks on a custom set.

Yes, they are finally getting a little smarter about it, and are doing some of the more popular set ups in a full one piece polished set up. I've suggested a few other options, like a 17x9.5 with a 5.5"BS! Duh, I would have casted that in a one piece 5 years ago if I were doing one piece wheels. :machine:

Thanks,Jon. I'll pass the word on to my friend.

Imagine the wheel industry today if American Racing had cast their Torq Thrust D wheels in a zero offset back when they were introduced, instead of those stupid backspace numbers they had.
Even so,American Racing jump-started the industry when they started offering the two-piece TT II's back in the 1990's.
