mechanical water temp gauge not working.

My truck has a set of summit gauges. They are the classic, autometer looking ones.

      Mechanical.

Yesterday I change my heater hoses, well actually I rerouted one to feed my clifford intake.

Afterwards, I started the truck checked for leaks, and drove it around. Gauge worked fine, no leaks.

      Came home, toped of radiator.

This morning I get in it, and take off for work. I am pretty sure I saw the gauge start to rise at first.

But, once I got going it never came off 100.

Now my drive is about 10 minutes, and I even got on it a few times.

      But the gauge never moved.

I got out, checked the radiator cap, it had pressure in the system.

Looked at the tubing, and it did not look like it had been disturbed or damaged.

      Any ideas?
