instead of trying to divert you i'll tell you what i know.

buying from them could save you $$$. buying from one of PT.com's sponsors definitely costs more but guarantees you quality and customer service.
i see people posting everyday about positive experiences buying from PT.com sponsors. i have yet to see anyone post positive or negative feedback concerning www.prowheels.net.
something to chew on...

I'll let you know in about three weeks. Just ordered Scorpion in 19x10 and 20x12 black center yesterday.

I had several PM's. I will post a full review of the wheels and experience in 3 weeks or so when mine arrive. Someone also asked what the Scorpion wheel looked like, so here's a pic. I am doing gloss black centers with a polished center cap on my PT '82 Corvette project.

if you're getting the tires mounted after you receive the wheels, please weigh them for future posterity!

Mine are coming mounted, but I am sure the weight for the Michelin Pilot Sport's is published somewhere, so we ought to be able to arrive at a weight.

I am looking at the boost wheels from them. They really have good prices. I hope the quality is good as well.

They have a really nice web site. Check it out when you get a chance! The music playing in the background is both soothing & uplifting. Now if only the wheels are as nice as the web site, this remains to be seen?

I spoke with one of the PT Vendors to see if I could source the wheels through them. They were not a dealer for Prowheels, but indicated to me that they had seen a couple of sets of their wheels and that the quality looked good.
My decision wasn't really cost driven, I just love the Scorpion wheel and couldn't find anything that I liked as well.

I really like the look of this wheel. My question is...do they "curve" in the same dirrection on bothsides, or will they curve towards the front on oneside and the back on the other?

I don't know, that's a good question. Tell you in a few weeks.

The X5's are my personal favorite. I imagine a brushed center. That'd be cool. The music is cool too. Reminds me of a lot of stuff I listen to already.

I spoke with Rudy yesterday (after mine are already on order ) and the answer is yes, the Scorpion, Stinger, Twisted Killer, etc. are directional. A set includes two lefts and two rights.

Very nice wheels. I'm considering some X5's for my car.
