I ran into the problem of even getting a returned call from skulte. I did a order with motorsports took a little longer to get than they said but they did make what I needed and the look like quality stuff I am not a expert at all but I am pleased .
08-22-2009 #3I bought a pair from Motorsport Tech. They looked to be well-made.
However these guys don't have a clue as to the bolt patterns or centerbore sizes used on our older American cars. Their website is all screwed-up and calls out the wrong bolt patterns for some of the older GM A and F-bodies which are the same, same goes with centerbore sizes.
I had a guy there telling me that a '68 Firebird had a couple of different centerbore sizes and I know that they are all the same.
I had to give them my centerbore measurement over the phone and they still screwed up, making the centerbore on my hub-centric adapters the exact same size as the hub instead of providing some clearance so they could go on the hub. Had to send them back for rework and when I got them back some of the studs were loose from the rework job. They had knocked them out with a hammer or press and put them back in half-assed.
I won't use them again for adapters.Bart F.
