thinking about these wheels for my 67 chevelle and need advice

I like these wheels listed for sale in the classifieds. https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=58856

Do you guys think that the fronts will have enough clearance to fit on a 67 chevelle with c5 brakes and AFX spindles. Im pretty sure the backspace and size is ok, but am worried about the calipers rubbing the spokes. I cant find any info on spoke clearance for these wheels.

If not otherwise specified, billet specialties normally builds in about 1" of caliper clearance. I'm pretty sure they mark their wheels with a build number on the backside of the pad, if you can get that number, you can call BS and they should be able to confirm the pad length.

Thanks jon. I'm pretty busted on my budget right now after brakes and suspension cost more than anticipated, so im trying to make up some ground with some used wheels for now.

I will say pass on them. You have a big wheel opening and these will look small. You are better off just saving up and buying what you really want..just my .02

I like the way these wheels look on the 69 camaro. Do you think the chevelle wheel opening is bigger than the camaro's? Personally, I'm not into the 19 and 20 inch wheels. Thats just my preference and I'm not trying to knock anyone elses style. I'm just looking for a 17 inch 5 spoke design with a dish. Pretty common, but want to stay away from the TT2's since they are so overdone. The photo shop pics of your project syckness look wicked, but not my style. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Good luck with your project Fabian, it looks cool, and Ill be following it. If you decide you dont want the GTO seats, I'll be happy to take them off your hands.
