Does anyone have experience with either of these wheels and the AFX spindle/C5 brakes?

My 17" Boyd Smoothie II's will not work with this combo. I really like the 17" minilite look, plus they fit into my budget better than some of the other wheels I like.

Thanks

I have 17" PSE T/A wheels on the Camaro, and AFX spindles in a box for the el Camino. Touring Clasic brakes sitting in the same box.

The wheels are used on a car that will get Kore 3 front brakes. There was minimal clearance betwen the wheel and the template, but after discussion w/ Tobin we came to the conclusion worst case would be a small shim plate to space the wheels out an eighth or so.

What specifically are you looking for?

I chose the PSE wheels because i don't like the lip on the face of Team II or VWW V48

Can't say I have experience with the brakes, but I have lots of pics of both wheel styles. I went with the Team III wheels. They have their advantages and disadvantages. Twentyover, the Team III wheels are accurate to a particular type of Minilite that had that ridge around the hub pad... Not sure why he chose that Minilite to pattern his wheels after... I don't like that feature either. One nice thing about the Team III's is they use a more modern conical lug seat instead of the shank style PSE uses...

Thanks, that answers my question about the PSE wheels. Caliper clearance was what I wanted to have verified before I purchased a set.

Still not sure which I'll buy.

Anyone have the TeamIII's with this combo?

Oh, one last thing. Caliper clearance, or lack there of, was why I didn't buy the PSE wheels. He designed the wheels to ensure that they would clear Corvette Delco Moraine 4 piston calipers. I intend on running AP Racing calipers eventually. The clearance Phil gave me on his wheels were not going to be sufficient. A buddy of mine did some 2D layouts of both wheels with the AP calipers. I will see if I can find them.
