DriverzInc: My Nova with 18" NewGen Splitters!

Here are some photos of my 67 Nova.
Car has a full Chassiworks front clip, and 4 link rear, with AirRide Shockwaves.
Motor is a 383 full roller motor and TH400 ( soon to be swapped out for a 700r4 ).

Wheels are NewGen Splitters, brushed center, and polished lip. Fronts are 18x7s with a 4.5" backspace and caliper clearance for a 6 piston brake which we will be upgrading too in the next few months. Rears are a 18x8 with a 5.5" backsapce, with a shorter pad for a little more wheel lip then the fronts.

Tires are 225/40/18 front, and 255/35/18 rear in the Nitto Invo, and provide a 1" difference in overall diameter from front to rear. I think it finished off the stance very well.

Interior has been completely replaced with SS seat covers and door panels. Autometr guages, our Shutt steering wheel (of course) and the new Commander shifter from Genie.

We will be also installing an Accuair Air Management unit in the car in the next month (when my new lift shows up and I can get under the car more easily), and building a custom center console from fiberglass. Never worked with fiberglass before, so this should be fun.

      Here are the photos, enjoy!

      John,
Your are completely correct. The stripes are only down the drivers side fender, like the grand sports.

Thanks for the compliments on the car and the wheels guys! I thought the Splitters would grab a lot of attention in brushed, and they have. I was even up for a few awards out at HAN, and the fellas from Big O Tires are interested in selling NewGen and could not get over how cool the wheels looked.

How long will I be keeping it? I know I go through cars pretty quickly, but I quite often get offers on my cars that just blow me away. Just this weekend out at HAN someone offered me 40K for the Nova right on the spot. I told him we just got it, and there are a few more things I'd like to do it before I let her go.... but I kept his number.

I'll take some more photos of the car, with the hood down, and in better lighting as we want to post them up on the website too: www.driverzinc.com, and www.newgenwheels.com. Look for more in the near future.

Looks good brushed! Much better than polished centers. Those New Gen wheels are made in the USA, right?
