have any of you ever done, or seen done, a B&M megashifter into the stock nova 4-gauge console?? ive done some measuring and i find that if oyu remove the shifter hump you should be able to run a megashifter under the stock console with the stock plate on top, howerver ive already made a plate that holds the B&M shift boot and bolts to the factory locatiion,....just an idea....feel free to chime in

I did a megashifter in a factory 67 Camaro console. The issue was that the shifter mechanism was taller than the console. My fix was to space the console up off of the floor and then pad the carpet to fill in the gap. The only way that it was noticable was the gap between the gauge pod on the console and the dash was closer together. I also made a plate to fit the console and shifter. Sounds like you are the right track.

well, i was thinking of ordering the console model for the 2nd gen camaro which the console looks to be aorund the same height of mine in my nova, ill make it wirk one way or another but thanks for the input, much appreciated!
