I am really looking forward to this wheel sale going on at Driverz inc from Jon. We asked for this over at chevelles and he gave us just what we wanted. With our economy in it's current state we are seeing that customer service is what will set wining companies apart.

So I am very excited about putting a new set of wheels on my car. I have just been trying to figure out which one. I have created a list of where i am currently at. I have enclosed pictures of my chevelle and wanted to see what you guys thought might look best on my car. I am trying to stay away from a high polished or chrome wheel on my car. But think that polished wheel or Brushed wheel might look good? Once i put wheels on the car i already have 2 inch drop springs for the car which i am going to install and to get that clearance have taken car of my low exhaust hanging problem.

Thanks for your help everyone!

Rushforth (Possible Chooice's)

1. Whiplash (Brushed Finish) Without Bolts
2. Whiplash (Polished Finish) Without Bolts
3. Rated X (Brushed Finish)
4. Rated X (Polished Finish)
5. Fuel (Brushed Finish)
6. Fuel (Polished Finish)

New Gen (Harder to choose because i have not seen on any car yet) (Possible Chooice's)

1. Splitter (Brushed Finish)
1. Splitter (Polished Finish)
2. I have not seen the other two wheels that Jon is working on for this line and would love to see them before i choose.

Thanks for the Welcome 1badchevelle.

I agree most of the Rushforth wheels are pretty nice. I am having trouble with the bolts on the wheels. They feel more import than i might like, But i am not sure yet. The Bolts do look great on the Rated-X But i like them without better on the Whiplash.

I just hope I can decide in the next 10 days! Any pics you can post or thoughts would greatly Help!

I vote Rushforth's!
Forgeline make a nice wheel as well. I would get in touch with either Frank from Prodigy Customs or John over at DriverzInc.
GOOD LUCK and post pics when you get them mounted.

Second choice: Rated X/Brushed/19&20 combo.

BTW...where is the thread on Chevelles about these wheels? This is the second mention on another board I've seen about it and I must be overlooking it or something. Help me out.

Don't forget that the hardware is completely optional so we can make them any way you need them but whichever design you pick with or without hardware, your Chevelle will absolutely be transformed!

Thanks for the compliments.. Wheels are 19x8 with 225/35/19 and 20x10 with 285/30/20. Wheels are Rushforth Livewire with titanum center and polished lips. Front suspension is all stock except with qa1 coilover, but upper/lower control arms and ProPlus Baer brakes are in order. The rear wheels has Ford 9" and DSE 3" drop, and still wating for the brakes. Upgrading my rear suspension in few weeks and going with quadralink setup.

So I have choosen to go with either the splitter or the Deceino wheel.

I was leaning toward the Splitter but i think i might be headed toward the Deceino now. I am going with a Brushed Center and a Polished Hoop. The car also has a Preal White Interior.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I feel like i am leaning toward the Decenio now as well. But I have never thought of going with a grey center. What about a smoked titanium center? with a polished lip?

Thanks Wolf28 for the hit on the paint! It is a pretty different color and has some preal in the paint which really sets it off.

i like all of newgen's designs except the decenio. it has 5 "square" spokes and 5 "round" spokes. one or the other for me. but that's why there's the rushforth rated x. JMO.

My boss has Rushforth Super Spokes w/ the smoked titanium on his 65 Olds...

My personal preference would be a little darker, but they do look good.

DriverzInc
08-26-2009, 02:14 PM
I still vote for the brushed center.

I think they will compliment his color of blue really well, and will be more of a simple, and elegant finish against his single color paint scheme, and white interior.

If his car was any other color maybe a darker blue, with a black interior, I might suggest the Titanium, or the grey, but I'm seeing brushed in this case.

The Decenio has come on strong. The square spokes come off of the lug, and are on a lower plane than the 5 rounded spokes, that have the ball milled edge running along the top of each spoke. Its more of a classic "gasser" style approach to a 10 spoke, than the Rated X which is more modern car looking. I think for a modern looking syle pro-touring car, the Rated X fits well, and for a more classic styled car, like this blue car, the Decenio is a better fit.

Had two customers walk in today and buy Decenios after seeing them in person. One commented it was the best wheel design he'd ever seen. That's a B O L D statement, but flattering nonetheless.

i figured that was your intention w/ the design, but the pics on your newgen website of the decenio are to 1 dimensional. some pics from different angles so interested parties can see that the square spokes are on a lower plane than the round spokes would be sweet!

I think the site should show some of the different finishes...ESPECIALLY the brushed finish. That finish shows off the design better to me than the standard polished finish IMO.

And we completely agree. As we continue to build wheels in different finishes, we will continue to update the website with different finishes that we do. Being such a brand new wheel brand, it will take us a sometime to get every wheel made, in every finish, but we'll slowly but surely get there. Thanks again.
