Looking a bit forward here to finding a set of either the Boyd Coddington Junk Yard dog rims or the Billet Specialties Dagger rims and was wondering who has the best prices around for these rims. I realize that the Boyd's will have a huge lead time which isn't a problem because this is a winter project.

We can do either one but prefer the Billet Specialties.

Any reason why the Billet Specialties is preferred?

Billet Specialties is a very high quality wheel at a great price. Some say best polish in the industry, and I cannot argue that at all.
Also, while Billet Specialties are very popular and main stream, they are not as over used as the JYDs

As far as pricing goes, the market is pretty tight when it comes to dealers pricing. And what PCs can get then to you for prolly wont be beat, so I say go with our dealers here.
Now, as far as quality. I would go with the BSs. Why?? Well like said already, you will get them. And the wheels really are great.
Do remember that the polish will be diff between the cast wheel and the billet wheel. And you can get alot of BSs wheels with either a cast or billet center, same design.
The cast center will be smooth, have a great polish. The billet center will hold up longer and does have a lil better polish. Not cause they didnt take the time. Its just that a cast piece of aluminum will have some micro voids, that will be polished, but it can show a lil irregularities. Not that you can really notice. Where the solid billet wheel is void free. And Im not sure if the aluminum alloy is diff between a cast center and a billet center, it possibly is. Some alloys polish up better than others. JR

The boyd camp is still a little rough, but on custom JYD's they are telling me 4-6 weeks on the phone.
