I am new to the site but i just wanted to share my new setup. The wheels are HRE's 19x8.5 with 245/35's and 19x10 with 305/30's.The suspension setup is Moog 5658 springs(cut half coil)front and Fbody springs(cut full coil)rear with Bilsteins on all 4 corners. It rides and handles pretty good.

Looks good... any plans for the brakes?
I had replaced all the stock OE brake components earlier this year but with stock stuff.I might upgrade to a LS front and rear system in the future but its not in the plans right now.My current brakes work pretty good for the kind of driving that i do which is just the casual weekend cruise.

Your car looks really good.. I have always loved the GNs, couldnt even afford to own though. When those dudes came out they amazed EVERYONE. Specially the unsuspecting vett next to them on a two lane freeway onramp. WHAT!! Looks great. JR

1-CLN-SS That is one sweet yet wicked looking ride! :twothumbs  I have 3 questions for you:
What is the backspacing on your front wheels?
Was it the F-body cargo coil rear springs you used or something else?
I'm guessing you did a minitub and frame notch to get 305's under the rear?
Thanks for any info

Dont know the backspacing of the wheels.Sorry
The rear springs and isolators came off an 86 Camaro.
And yes the frame is notched but no minitube was needed.

man, i love the grannys... a close friend had a few of them and one scared the crap out of me.. to this day its the fastest car I've been in. To compare it, Ive riden in a 575 supercharged GT.. its a close second ..
anyway nice car, but I never would pick a black wheel on a black car.. looks like a sea of black and atleast in the pictures its difficult to see the wheel design. As long as you like it thats what counts.. later

Yea i hear yall on the black. That wasn't my first choice in wheels but i found these HRE's cheap and couldn't pass on a good deal.Thats the only reason that i got them.I prefer chrome wheels myself. Here is a pic of my SS with some 22x9 and 22x11 Asanti's

Here is a pic of my old wheels Torqlites 18x7 and 18x8

I prefered the torqlites better but just didnt like the fact that they only came in 18x8 and i wanted a wider rear rim.
