I have a brake question....
The brake warning light in the speedo on my 69 GTO comes on when the car gets to operating temp. The brake pedal feels solid, NOT spongy...When the car cools down, the light goes out until it warms up again. I am running long tube headers, and the headers are a good 2-2.5 inches from the proportioning valve. The fluid level in the M/cyl is fine. Are my headers causing the proportiong valve to heat up, and possibly cause my problem? The headers were installed as part of my engine rebuild, I was running Factory RA III manifolds before, and I never had this problem....
Any suggestions?
