im changing the powerglide to a 350 trans in the camaro.will the flywheel that is on the engine now work with the 350 trans?anything else i should be aware of?i know the 350 isnt the greatest but till funds get rite itll have to do

should be the same if your keeping the same engine. only diff would be going to 400 or 454 as they are externally balanced. just make sure your torque converter will bolt to the flexplate.

The torque converter bolt holes are closer together on the powerglide flexplate.
TH350 holes are further apart.
That's if someone hasn't change the flexplate to one with dual hole patterns.
You'll probably need a TH350 flexplate.

Everytime I have made the sway from PG to TH350 I have used the flywheel that was used with the Glide. Last one was a bone stock 67 Chevelle 283 PG car that I had sold, took me longer to put in the column shifter linkage than to hook the engine to the transmission.

all went well today,the 350 went in without a hitch/driveshaft worked and everything except the tin flywheel cover.i do need to get the linkage for the tranny though.the 350 i got just had the nub on the side no linkage ect.thank you everyone for your help!!!
