what is a reasonable price for a color change paint job?
What would be a reasonable price for a quality paint job for a change in color with no body work? I am still looking for a car and just want to budget a paint job if it is the wrong color. I figuired $2k-$3k. Am I off base or am I good. Thanks.

IMO this is a very open ended question there are alot of factors to it location,quality,wheter "YOU" or the "PAINTER" thinks it needs body work,etc. hopefully some of the guys who actually paint in here can give you a better idea but I think your figures are very conservative.
