      315's on a 68 Chevelle

I'm wanting to put 315's on a 68 Chevelle. Does anyone have any pics and know the width and BS needed to pull this off. I currently have 285's on 9.5" wheels w/5.5" BS. I'm thinking I need 10.5" wheels with 6 1/4 BS to fit 315's. Can anyone confirm this. Again, pics would be great. Thanks for any help.

I believe it's 17x11 @ 6.25 backspacing, although I would measure to be certain it'll go on your car, it works on most but there can be some variances side to side on these cars.

Went right on my car without issue.

I had 315's mounted on 17x11's with 6" backspacing on a '70 and it was fine should be the same for a '68. Currently changing to 19x12's with 335's. Can any one say mini tubbing.

      11" with 6.5" is the most popular measurements for a 17x11 and a 315.

      Realcoray,
Have any other pics? Liking the fatness of that rear tire, I know that size can fit on my 69 if it's on yours. Any suspension mods/cutting to make them fit?
