      4L60E in GM A Body?????

      Should any floor pan modifications be required to install a 4L60E in a 1972 GM A body (1972 442 with a 455)?

      We have a complete kit for the 4L60/65E transmission family to both Gen 1 and Gen 2 GM A-body. Give our guys a call or PM KeislerGene or KeislerJeff. We have done this a number of times already, but I don't have the info handy to pass on.

      I had a 700 R4 (same case as a 4l60) in my 71 Monte Carlo with no floor mods.

      Just finished putting a monster 4L80E (much bigger then a 4l60E) in a the Bull Run Racer. Nothing a hammer in a few key spots did not handle.
