      tire suggestions

I am looking for tires to go on my 92 RS. I want to keep the car looking stock so am sticking with the 16" factory wheels.

Suspension has the typical upgrades, as I like to be able to carve the corners on my comute.

I drive the car daily so need something that will last and be okay in wet weather.

      Size is 245/50/16

So far I am looking at the BFG g-force sport.

      Thoughts?

The G-force sport is a great tire for the money. I was really happy with mine, but made some upgrades and sold my rim/tire combo.

      I was running the 255/50/16 on my '68 442

I run BFG G-force sports on my daily driver fox body and they've been great. I've only had them since December, so no word on long term wear, but the traction in the wet and dry is good and definitely way better than whatever Dunlops were on there before. I suppose the nearest competitive tire would be the Fuzion ZRi's. Fuzion is a Bridgestone tire line.

I have had very good luck with the Fuzions. I have installed them on many Lexus' and have them on my own beater Supra daily driver and they are great, have seen virtually zero problems with them.

I love my BFG G-Force Sports. I am running 275-40-18's all around and it handles great. I have yet to even get close to where they give up. I looked at them the other day and they look great still. BTW did I mention they are cheap. I paid $139 for the first 2 from TireRack. I had to make sure they would fit all around first taht is why I bought only 2 at first. By the time I got around to buying the other 2 the price went up but $169 still ain't bad for these tires.

I'm rolling on Yokohama es100's for my daily driver. It's a zq8 sonoma with 16x8 wheels, and I was looking for the same size you are. You'll find there isn't a whole lot available for max perf summer tires in that size. I went with the es100's because of the low price and good looks, along with the performance numbers I was after. The tires are very nice for daily driving, showing moderate road noise and so far great wear for the 25000 km's I've put on. Dry grip is great with predictable limits, and the wet is great for the first half of tread, then it starts to drop off. But that's with every tire. The grip is still good when wet, but just not as good as new. These have been discontinued, but many places still hold old stock on them.
