Just ordered my Stainless flex lines and Hawk HPS pads from Tobin ( Thanks for your help ). Also ordered a 15/16" master from CPP. Tobin, I ended up just getting the one with (2) 3/8 24 threads. I'll just make up a couple new lines to the prop valve.

Anyway. I'm using single 2 15/16" front pistons with drum rears. Just wondering how your similar setups are working out. I have a week or so before I swap over.

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up that CPP has the small port version of their 15/16" C3 type master cylinders in stock...I thought they were BO'd on both the small port and large port versions.

I have a 15/16" bore master with 4 piston Alcon brakes and drum rears in a manual setup. It is fantastic in all respects from pedal feel to leg force needed to stop.

Drove the car today with the booster vac disconnected (Still mounted) just for the heck of it. LOL... I have a 1 1/8" master stock pads and rubber lines. I was able to stop and even skid with some force. Took some effort though. Looking forward to see what the 15/16 master , steel lines and Hawk pads do.:)

I wouldn't go any smaller than 15/16 bore with that monster single pistom GM caliper. It was designed for power use, and can be funny as a manual brake. I recomend the GMiii direct replacement caliper, it is nice and light. I run 3/4" bore with my c5 style brakes, but use a dual master cylinder with a balance bar, the ONLY way I could get manual brakes to work really well, check out www.customworksproducts.com (http://www.customworksproducts.com) under the brakes tab. it is expensive, but changing master is cheaper, and it is very adjustable.
