I'm trying to update my car without changing the overall "feeling" of it. Its not quite "newstalgia" look - well - maybe it is- that I'm going for. For instance my cd player is a sony with 2 knobs and a rounded display because it recalls to the older style stereo as opposed to single know units used now.

The custom audio would have looked too close.
Now I'm looking for rims (have been for months) that pick up the vibe of the old car, maybe the pontiac rallyes, or maybe to the AR 200s. They've got to have some curve. They've got to be chrome (sorry no-bling guys - this is a convertible and my girl deserves jewelry). They've got to be 17" or 18" to clear the binders and they've got to come in at the $300 range. No TT2's or rims with little holes throughout. I know I don't want coys or 338s. So what else do you have? So far I've looked at AR 200s and Foose Legend Nitrous but I'm open to anything. Any input (without wisecracks) you could give, especially with pics would be great. I know I'm not the only one that spends his lunch hour looking at wheel porn so I figure you guys have ideas. You could also give your opinion on the wheels below (again, please keep in mind the above requirements and refrain from wisecracks). Thanks

The Foose Legend is by far the best bang for the buck.
I've got sets in stock in 17s and 18s with Nitto 555 tires, or by themselves for prices that are by far less than anyone elses. We stock this wheel, so give me a call: 866-694-5940

The nice thing about the Foose Wheels is they are the right offsets and bolt patterns for most classic cars. No spacers.

Yup, I thought of it too, its been a HOT wheel since we debuted it, but he said he really wanted to go with one of these two choices, but I'll post it here if you want to see it. Full Billet 6061-t6, custom built wheel, so its a little different animal compared to the two posted originally, but I can build it for you no problem. Just let me know.

Guys, I'm open to anything that has the right feel. I got a quote from Jon on the gen line but by the time I get them to Canada with taxes and shipping its just too much. Great wheels and a heck of a bargain for what you get but I really have to stay to around $300 a wheel.

You've got to search "prowheels" or you get ebay stuff. They look good with updated classic shapes but too updated. Thanks

Come on guys, I know you surf for wheels what have you got?

Not sure if you have to have chrome or not but check out Vintage Wheel Works. Old school look in bigger sizes. 17's available now and 18's should be out this year.
