I've always liked this style of wheel, and after a few years of pondering about wheels for my '68 I still kinda come back to these, and they are resonably priced..... Thoughts? Anybody have pics of Camaro's with these wheels?

Or should I just go with some Rushforths (I kinda like the "rated X" wheels also)

I really like those too and was thinking of using them on my '69, but am thinking i'll go with Racelines instead, which are pretty close. The only bummer is that Raceline doesn't make a 9.5 for the rear, only 9 or 10. Here is a pic of the wheel, it's the GT 2 and it's a 2 piece billet wheel. Here is a pic of a '69 with this rim as well for reference. Just another option to think of....

There was a wheel made by Halibrand that was called a Grand Sport that was carried recently by Discount Tire that I really liked. It was only offered in 5x4.75 bolt patterns and was a really sharp wheel. Looks like it may have only been available in a positive offset.

I actually like the knock offs. Probably wouldn't care for the wheels as much without them.

Not a camaro, but same wheels.

They do say shelby all huge on the centercaps, just a warning. I've gotten alot of positive comments about them, which kind of suprised me. I anticipated more jabs about them being "ford" wheels :p My dad likes them so much he ordered a similar set for his 65 vette.

Ditto, I do agree with you on that.

How about these

I think the lip is nicer and no Shelby in the middle

those are the ones my dad got for his vette. The lip is the same standard lip as the American Racing wheels (the stock pic in the first post has a flipped hoop, which isn't what you get when you order them). The raw center on the VWW is nice looking though.

I wish I had better shots of the wheels but my gallery crashed and I lost most of my pics.

Driverz Inc carries Schott wheels and they have a model called Venom that has a little bit of that Cobra look. The knock off is part of the center cap and hides the lug nuts. If the lip stayed polished and the center was a different finish or color, I think it would look a lot better.

We have a wheel in our XLR series that's has a very similar look. We can do the wheel with a powdercoated center as well. If you have any questions just send me a PM.

I saw them on a dark green 69 at Phoenix GoodGuys show a few years back and it looked really good. Do a search for Liz Miles (to quote Mr Vengeance, homegirl from popular hotrodding have them on her orange Camaro?) Camaro and you can see what they look like on a 68.

There is a side view on Raceline's website of a 67 Chevelle and 69 Camaro with GT wheels on it. If anyone decides to go Raceline, we are a dealer for them

Think PSE has a real knockoff peg drive design for a similiar style wheel

I was going to post pictures of the Schott Venom wheel. Thank you for doing that...

By far one of the better options mentioned... The knock-off screws down and is functional in the way it hold the cover-loc center cap in place, and with this wheel, now you have the flexibility of custom offsets, bore size, caliper clearance, finish, etc.

How about a set of 18" Bonspeed Big Blocks? They are two piece, so I am sure a powder coated center is possible.

I don't have a picture handy but Liz Miles' Camaro has them.

They look good, I've considered them for my 69 also.
