Wanted to get a little meaner look with the 69 so I ordered a set of Rushforth Live Wire's with a matte black centers and polished hoops from Jon@Driverz Inc. I also added the SPC lower control arms which lowered the front another inch. What do you guys think?

IMO it looks great... but the back could come down enough to match the fender to wheel distance with the front.

I agree with Roger, back needs down 1".
Otherwise looks good!

I knew somebody would say that. I think the picture is a little deceiving and makes the rear look taller than it is. Before I lowered the front the front almost looked higher than the rear.
I think that looks pretty sweet man. Better than some chromey bling bling crap.
Good choice.

New wheels look great.. It does appear to have a lil azz end up look. Prolly the pic. The rockers to ground is what Im seeing. An inch lower in the rear would level her out. But Ill bet yer as low as you want to go, she looks low. Car looks good. JR

Ya she is as low as I can get without running into issues. I am still working out the kinks on the front end. I wanted to bring it down 1" but it is closer to and 1.5". In order to level it out might have to come back up .5". Getting the stance right is turning into one major PITA.

Wow, that looks great! What suspension are you running out back? I agree another .5~1.0 inch lower rear will be killer.

Thanks guys. Tire sizes for the fronts are 245/40/18 and the rear is 275/40/18. Rear suspension is a stock setup with the shock relocated and DSE 2" lowering leafs with delrin bushing. I love the way the front sits now but I think it is just to low. The fender is just above the wheel almost full tire tuck and rubbing is going to be an issue. Going to have to raise it up another .5" to an 1" and see how it looks.

LOL...tell me about it.
Car looks screaming, that's the same tire setup I run on mine, are those 10" wide rears too?
Curious though, measure from the top of the wheelwells to the ground and tell me where your car sits, mine's 22.75" in front and 23.75" in the rear.

Right now my driver side is at `23" and my passenger side is at 22.5". My rear is right at 25". I am going to raise my driver side a .5" and my passenger side up 1" and see how it looks than go from there.

Justin,
Lookin sweet with the new stance bud. I think that picture from that angle probably does make your rear look taller than it is... when you get a chance, take a down low photo from the front quarter, and I bet it will look completely different.
My pleasure, again, to help you bud. Looking forward to working with you on your truck next! ;)

Figured as much, you car looks about as slammed as mine in front...rear may be a tad higher than mine.
Here's a similar-angle picture to compare:

not big on the coilover setups for a stock front subframe. I can adjust the front ride height up to 2" with the SPC lower control arms. Now the rear is a different story. If I could do it over I would have went with the G-Bar for the rear in the beginning but everything in the rear is new and I really dont want to eat all that money switching over.

musclecarjohn, what are you running for the rear suspension? Your stance is what I am going for but I really have to watch the collectors on my headers.

I didn't realize you could do that with the SPC LCAs.
It is nice being able to set the ride height especially in the front so can be pretty low but still have enough clearance for headers to not rub.
Now the rear is a different story. If I could do it over I would have went with the G-Bar for the rear in the beginning but everything in the rear is new and I really dont want to eat all that money switching over.
You could probably still use your existing rear end (just have to weld on the G-Bar tabs on the axle). Just have to swap out the leaf springs and shocks.
Being able to set the ride height on all 4 corners was huge for me.
