putting finishing touchs on on wifes car and we built custom door panels and the problem i am having is, the window cranks wont fit. the regulator stub is to short for the door panel being to thick.does anyone know of some type of extension for the window cranks. thanks shawn oh and i've searched this several differen't ways

Cut the gear off and weld a piece of rod between the 2. Just make sure that you cut back far enough to get the clip too.

So ... Slap some power windows in it.

I'm having a similar problem with my reproduction deluxe door panels. They're so thick that the factory crank won't reach the factory original deluxe-style window regulators.

We should ask Fesler if he could machine some with a longer shank on them.
