A/F gauge

Hi guys

Just wondering how much your a/f gauges fluctuates in your carburated engine. Mine never seems to stay at the same place even at a steady speed, is that also what you experience?
I have an wide band autometer gauge with one sensor.

mine stays prety steady within .2 or so if throttle is the same and not climbing hills or anything

I've used professional grade lambda sensors and experienced some minor fluctuation. If the sampling rate is fast and accurate, you should expect to see variation as a result of slightly different combustion in each cylinder.
