Anybody know if there was an option for magnesium wheels on the ZO6? I am not talking about the 5 spoke magnesium wheels. Thanks

Brian,

I have a 2003 Z06 and the only wheel available for the Z06 is made of aluminum.

Thanks guys I saw someone on ebay posting the z06 wheels as Mag but I thought that was wrong. GOD!! I hate EBay as it is full guys just looking to rip someone off!!! Thanks

Maybe I'm off base but didn't the very early Z06's have a mag wheel option? It didn't make it through the first year. Or maybe I'm on drugs....

Your mind is definitely not gone. I had a chance to buy 1 mag. wheel w/ tire off a Z06. I had no clue what to do with it, so I passed.
Looking at that guy's post, maybe I could have made some serious cash?!! :seizure:

As far as I am aware , the ZO6 wheels were all made from alum.

I have never seen a Z06 10-spoke wheel in magnesium. The only one I know about is the 5-spoke. If you got one, I wanna see a pic of it.

That wheel is the reg magnesium. wheel offered for the C5's , that is not a Z06 wheel.

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear enough-it looks like the guys on the Z06 forum that I used as a reference were incorrect. There doesn't seem to be a 10 spoke (Z06) wheel available in magnesium. I can see that the pic that I posted is not a Z06.

Yep, that's the wheel I was looking at. I just ASSumed it was a Z06 from the part numbers on the other thread.
I'm not a Corvette guy, so I don't know the nuances of the various models.
