I ran across these pics and loved the setup on this car. I am not sure if this car is mini-tubbed or not. If anyone knows what brand thses wheels are that would be great too. I am wanting to do something similar to this but with all the possible diameters, bacspacing, offsets, tire widths exc. exc. I am jusy overwhelmed and not sure what is the right setup to go with.

That looks like Rick Kirkindall's car. Those are Fikse wheels, but I don't remember if they're the FM5 or the Profil 5. If I remember correctly, yes the car is mini-tubbed. He's a member here, so hopefully he could chime in.

They don't look like the FM5s to me. I see the FM5s on SWs car here in town, and those are slightly diff.

They might be Profil 5's.. But they are definitely one of the two.

I did a little research on it and they are Fikse Profil 5's. The sizes are 18x9 up front with 255/40's and the rears are 18x12.5 with 335/30's. The rear is minitubbed and I know the suspension is Martz on the car. As for backspacing, I say measure your car and see what you can fit. Every car is just a little different. You might not be using the same suspension Rick is and pretty often that could make a difference.

Rickk,
Thanks for being available. I haev been down with bronchitis but I think zbugger has answered my questions. I love that car.......was hoping it wasn't mini-tubbed. Does anybody have a 2nd gen with 18x10 rears in a 3 piece wheel they can post pics of. I am trying to decide on a wheel combination.

We're a dealer for Fikse now, and have very competitive prices. They definitely look good on Rick's car. Sweet job with that one Rick.
