OK folks my drag car (79 Camaro) finally got the front brakes and line lock installed and no leaks. Wilwood front setup and going to use plain metric calipers in place of the factory ratchet rear calipers.
Wilwoods come with their BP-10s which look awfully hard when compared to an organic pad. They make a BP-10 for the metric caliper but was wondering what you all thought about the more available pads. Will have skinnies up front and slicks in rear.

The BP-10 are great for a street car. Any of the other pads will not work as well in 'cold' situations, very common in a drag race scenario. The Hawk pads would work pretty well.

I know when autocrossing alot of guys ditched the semi metallics and switched back to organics due to the warm up. I think I even have some old Bendix semi metallics for the rear! Just didn't know haw the BPs on the front would work with "plain" pads on the rear of bend over and get Wilwoods BPs for the rear, or some Hawks.

BP10 front plain rear is fine.
