I have a Holley Red pump (internally regulated at ~6psi) and Holley 4150 that is flooding on engine shutdown. While running, the fuel level in both bowls are correctly set to the bottom of the site plugs.
After driving and shuting it down, it is hard to restart and I've noticed it leaking on the manifold and the butterflies are wet. Thinking that it was a stuck float, I noticed that the sight plugs showed that both fuel bowls are overfilled. I now suspect the fuel pressure is getting too high at some point or at shutdown.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks,
Steve
