I guess it might be alittle better because the a-body club might be growing more in the BOP section:box2:

Mini-tub 2" per side. Cut right down the middle of the inner wheel tub and on an angle into the floor. Moved that piece just cut 2" inboard. Fabbed up a new piece to fill in the tub. The tricky part is kicking in the frame rails 2 " per side. After completely leveling the frame front to rear and side to side, and bracing with about 40' of angle iron, I cut the frame just ahead of the lower control arm mount and behind the second to last body mount on each side. Move the frame rail in 2" each side, tack, measure. If everything is kosher, fab new frame closeouts to box new section and finish welding. The key is to keep everything level and to take lots of measurements. You will have to move the second to last body mount. I ordered a new rearend from Moser narrowed 2" per side with lower control arm mounts shipped loose, welded them on once my fabricating was finished. Mark Stietlow did something similar on the red 64 Chevelle he built. Lots of measuring and lots of patience and experience. And a couple of beers when it's finished! Cheers

White with matte red wide stripes on middle of hood and deck lid to match red interior. 2" dropped spindles and lowering coils in rear, which may be updated to coilovers. I still need to narrow my sway bar also to match the narrowed rear end. Just finished final blocking tonight. Possibly painting Friday or Saturday. Counting down the days til my Rushforth Super Spokes are on the way to seal the deal!

Those pics were taken recently after a semi-restoration and it currently does not have the original Buick 430 Wildcat motor on gas with a 8.71 blower as my dad originally built it...them ain't my dad's headers either.
It remains the worlds only Buick-powered Buick funny car ever made.
It is believed that 3 of these bodies were made by Ron Pelligrini @ Fiberglass Limited in Chicago but only two were known to exist, this one campaigned by the New York Buick Dealers Group and one campaigned by Ron under the Chicago Buick Dealers Group...but his was hemi powered.
Car was all Buick (engine, auto trans, rearend) and was originally driven by Bruce Bowen then Coney Island Ralph and ran a best of 7.71 @ 180+ mph.
Car is currently in MI and I would love to trade some of my cars to own it,I've also got dad's last AA/GD slingshot so this would be a great addition, being the only F/C my dad ever built.
