Does anyone make a steering box that is smaller in size than the stock one on a '68 Camaro? I have a set of Hooker Competition headers and the nut that holds the steering arm to the steering sector is an interference fit to the headers. It has already dented the headers some but still rubs them. I can take the headers back off and dimple the headers for clearence ( I thought of using a vice with a piece of wood on the side I didn't want to mess up and maybe a socket to do the dirty work, or maybe change the box for a smaller one with tighter turning ratios. This is a power steering box. (thought I'd throw that in at the last minute).

Not related to that problem but, since I'm here does anyone make a tool for taking out the spark plugs on these angle plug heads? These are a PITA to get to sometimes.
Thanks for the help
Carl

The best way to do it is to cut and reroute that tube. I did that one, and the #2 at the header flange to allow better bolt access.

Yeah, I just hate to do it since they are ceramic coated...
