Are we talking about a Weld in G bar or a bolt in? Pre welded link mounts or you weld the Link Mounts to your rear? Is the car striped of the old rear? Are we talking complete including brake line plumbing and brake bleeding?
We just did a G Link in a car that had a loose leaf spring roller rear in it came out quick, nothing connected. We welded the lower and upper link mounts on a bare rear, about 12 hours. But a good 4 hours of that was locating the rear, tacking the link mounts, removing the rear, welding the link mounts. And we did not hook up the brakes, did not make brake lines, no brake bleeding, etc. Came in rolling, left rolling. If we would have had a pre welded housing, it would be a days job at most for a roller to roller.
Mini tubs for a G Link rear are 32 hours with no crossmember needed, saves 8 hours.
Having the shop makes for a great R and D facility. We can handle all the rear measurements, rear width, back spacing for wheels, tire size, etc. Make sure the suspension fits the body, make sure the barakes fit the rear, make sure the wheels clear the brake, make sure the tires clear the body.,
