I need to refinish a set of wheels I recently purchased for an import project I am working on. The wheels are BBS mesh style similar to the ones in the link below. The wheels have about 30 bolts around the perimeter of each wheel. The heads of these bolts are starting to rust and need replated. I am thinking about painting the centers of the wheels dark grey and want the bolts to have a polished or black finish.
What type of plating would work for the bolts? Any opinions on the black or polished bolt heads. Does anyone have suggestions on the type of paint to use for the center of the wheels? Thanks for the help. :drive:

powdercoat the center, if the bolt heads can be removed powder coat them and epoxy them in place.
